No, not at all, but I can guarantee you that it is a wild ride and features many sentient seagulls. Written in the late 60s, published in 1970, and so wildly popular in that decade that the narration (free on YouTube) has a whole orchestral score in the background. It had its own movie, not in any animation, but live action, using film of actual, live, wild seagulls.
